The statement was created based on an internal self-assessment. All pages in German and English were checked using an automated testing tool (axe-core, WCAG 2.1 A and AA rule sets), supplemented by a manual keyboard walkthrough, a walkthrough with the NVDA screenreader, and color contrast measurements. In the parent portal, the essential pages in German and English were tested with NVDA—login via email and telephone, registration, cancellation and revocation, the overview of children and contracts, a child's detail page, contract conclusion, payments, holiday care, registering a child, profile, changing and confirming the email address, help, and contact. Headings, landmarks, tab order, and form error messages were checked, as well as the pages after logging in with test data in a test environment.
